Here is a little treasure that has stood the test of time with a beautiful, quiet grace. This flattened, lenticular vase, what collectors call a "moon flask," immediately captivates with its soft and unique silhouette: a round, flat body like the moon, topped with a short, tubular neck encircled by a ring-shaped lip. The entire surface is adorned with a dense and generous decoration of stylized scrolls and volutes, rendered in polychrome enamel in warm tones of red, green, and brown, with beautiful, slightly metallic iridescent reflections reminiscent of luster glazes.
The vase is vintage and dates from the 1950s. It is in excellent condition.
