Solid oak frames stand on turned front legs with block feet, joined by a pierced, hand-carved front apron of interlocking arcs and rosettes and a stretcher base below.

The sling seats and backs are covered in thick leather, deeply patinated from decades of use and edged with rows of oval brass nailheads. The leather has aged to a rich tobacco brown with lighter scuffing throughout, the kind of surface that cannot be reproduced.

Condition: sold as found, with honest wear. The leather shows extensive scuffing, crazing and scratches consistent with age. On one chair the seat leather is torn and frayed along the front edge and underside, exposing the backing fabric; the other seat shows fraying at the front edge. Priced accordingly; they can be enjoyed as-is or re-leathered. Please review all photos.

Measurements (each): 20" W x 17" D x 37" H; seat height 18". See less
