Bring a touch of sunny Italian heritage to your vanity or curio cabinet with this exquisite mid-century covered ceramic trinket dish. Hand-crafted in the style of Capodimonte by regional artisans in Italy, this traditional majolica piece features a low, fluted earthenware bowl delicately hand-painted with charming cottage floral cartouches.
The crowning glory is its sculptural dome lid, heavily laden with high-relief, three-dimensional applied ceramic roses in gradient tones of warm peach, apricot, and rich pink. Nestled between the prominent roses are deep violet-purple pansies and glossy, layered foliage. The leaves are finished in a rich emerald green with vibrant chartreuse and grass-green highlights along the raised edges and veins, a depth achieved through traditional Italian copper-infused glazing techniques. The underside of the base features the authentic "Hand Painted / Italy" circular export back stamp typical of Italian studio pottery from the 1950s. Perfect for storing heirloom jewelry, rings, or acting as an eye-catching centerpiece.
