The taller … Read more A striking pair of vintage Chinese costume display dolls, presented in contrasting heights on individual black round bases. The taller figure wears a cream robe patterned with red flowers, vivid yellow trim, a dramatic black headdress with a pink flower and hanging red tassels, and a flowing red accent at the front. The smaller figure wears a bright orange and red floral costume with green and gold accents, pink ribbon and flowers, and an ornamented updo.

Their carefully styled hair, painted faces, layered fabrics, and dimensional accessories give the pair an expressive presence from every side. Display them together on a console, cabinet, or bookshelf as decorative costume art. They would suit a collected traditional interior, an eclectic room, or a space with Asian art and objects.
