Striking vintage decorative glass brandy snifter or goblet featuring a rich jewel-toned teal glass bowl embellished with elaborate gold gilt ornamentation and raised ivory-colored classical cameo medallions.
The upper portion is surrounded by intricate scrolling floral and foliate motifs, while a wide gold band divides the decorative register from additional delicate gilt lattice and swag detailing below. The dramatic teal bowl rests upon a clear glass pedestal stem and circular foot.
With its opulent coloring and highly decorative detailing, this piece has the luxurious character associated with mid-century Venetian and Italian decorative glass. Beautifully displayed individually on a bar cart, cocktail table, bookcase, or collected alongside other Venetian-style glassware.
