The round table features a beveled glass top set within a tan leather-wrapped surround, finished with brass nailhead trim and supported by dramatically carved cabriole legs with scroll and foliate detailing. A brass foot ring circles the base, reinforcing the substantial, club-room character of the piece.

The four coordinating stools are the real conversation pieces. Each is upholstered in red or black leather and shaped around classic playing-card suits, including hearts, clubs, and spades. Turned wood legs and brass foot rings echo the table and tie the set together visually.

Maitland-Smith is known for decorative furniture with strong Old World influence, artisan finishing, leatherwork, carving, and unusual statement pieces. This set captures that aesthetic especially well and would be a standout addition to a game room, home bar, library, or traditional entertaining space.
