This Really is a Great Looking Authentic Antique American Folk Art Bird House. Circa Early 1900s. It is Rendered in a Classic Victorian Style. It is Completely Hand Made out of Pine Wood with Complicated Multiple Piece Construction. Its Very Nicely Detailed Hand Painted Features Include Roof Shingles & Chimney Bricks Etc. Note that the Hand Painted Features have Developed that Wonderful Naturally Aged Patina that Cannot be Duplicated. It is in Very Good Overall Original Condition and it Displays Beautifully. It has Only Minimal Age and Use Related Wear - Imperfections.
NOTE that Based on the Interior and Other Areas it Would Appear That it Has Never Actually Been Used as a Bird House.
I Acquired This Piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in The Lancaster Pennsylvania Region.
It Measures Overall Approx.
