Made in Italy or France, this magnificent piece is reminiscent of the Christian Dior Home collection, designed around 1960. Although it does not bear a label confirming the attribution, the frame displays the distinctive style and high level of craftsmanship associated with pieces from this collection. The Vienna cane, traditionally associated with Thonet seating, is encased in transparent acrylic glass, while polished chrome-plated metal details frame the photograph and form the supporting structure.

The frame is designed to accommodate a photograph measuring approximately 21.5 cm (8.46 in.) in height × 15.5 cm (6.10 in.) in width. The piece is in good vintage condition, showing only minor signs of age and use. The metal components have been carefully polished with a suitable product, while the metal elements on the reverse have been preserved with their original patina. See less
