Its elegant urn-shaped body, stepped circular base and beautifully balanced proportions reflect the glamorous neoclassical aesthetic associated with hollywood regency design.

weighing an impressive 8.5 kilograms, the lamp has a substantial presence and demonstrates a quality of construction rarely found in more conventional brass lighting. Its polished surface beautifully reflects the surrounding interior and displays a warm, naturally aged golden tone. With a height of 59 centimeters excluding a lampshade, the piece works particularly well as a statement lamp on a large console, side table or pedestal. It may also be used as a low floor or accent lamp. A generously proportioned shade in cream-colored silk, natural linen or black would complement its sculptural form particularly well.

the lamp is fitted with a standard e27 socket, which is also compatible with e26 light bulbs commonly used in the united states. The brass shows authentic age-related patina, minor surface scratches, signs of oxidation and traces of verdigris around some of the joined elements.
