Rare and impressive, this 19th-century hand-carved Swiss Black Forest cigar box is crafted from rich walnut, offering a stunning patina that has developed over nearly 150 years. The exquisite craftsmanship of this piece is evident in the breathtaking carved centrepiece on the top, featuring two deer skilfully displayed in a forest scene, surrounded by intricate leaves and branches.
The 2 doors are decorated with finely carved hunting trophies and open to reveal five cigar shelves. And underneath the doors a drawer, providing ample space for storing cigars and other tobacco accessories. Whether you're a cigar enthusiast or simply appreciate fine craftsmanship, this antique cigar box is sure to become a conversation piece. Even if you don’t smoke, it’s undeniably a work of art that brings beauty and elegance to any room.
In almost perfect condition, this cabinet only lacks the small key, but its overall integrity and craftsmanship remain exceptional. Any Black Forest collector would be thrilled to add this rare gem to their collection.
