This giltwood vitrine table is glazed on the top and all four sides, and the front panel drops down on hinges so you can get to the interior. It works as a display case for collections, silver, or small objects, and doubles as an end table. The fluted tapering legs, carved husk pendants at the corners, and beaded apron molding are all classic Louis XVI details, and the worn gilding with red bole showing through gives it the aged look designers go after.
Measures 25.75 inches wide by 25.75 inches deep by 22 inches tall. Good vintage condition with wear and oxidation to the gilt surfaces throughout. No chips or cracks. Please see all available photographs and consider them as part of the item description.
