Condition: pre-owned, see pictures, wear consistent with age and use
Size: 22" x 18.5"
Description: Large Amherst Japan ironstone platter. The rim has a repeating pattern of flowers, foliate and volutes. The main body features larger flowers, foliate, oriental pagoda and landscape. The back is stamped Amherst Japan in blue and South Wales Pottery. These early marks date between 1839 and 1855, the William Chambers period.
