Originally designed as a decorative linen fabric print by acclaimed American textile artist Luther Travis (1927–2019) for his Original Town House collection (produced by Bloomcraft / Charles Bloom, Inc.), this piece breaks away from standard farmhouse motifs with a delightfully surrealist composition.

This printed linen textile art features a stylized muted robin's egg blue and mottled brown hen settling comfortably onto one side of an antique brass balance scale. She is counterweighted by a small rustic weight marked "5."

Floating feathers and warm, earth-toned eggs surround the base, perfectly capturing Travis’s signature bold, graphic folk-art aesthetic.
