Crafted by Maitland Smith, this Boho-style table lamp pairs a sculptural spirit with fine materials, anchored by a patinated bronze base cast with a pair of elegant giraffes rendered in intricate, lifelike detail. The giraffes stand atop a circular wood platform with rich grain and a warm finish, while an iron shaft lends a refined, understated silhouette that lets the sculptural base take center stage. A leather shade tops the piece, its aged patina and softly worn edges adding warmth and authenticity. Equal parts lighting and sculpture, this lamp brings organic texture and conversation-starting character to a study, living room, or bedside setting.
Measuring 18 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 31¼ inches high, this lamp is generously scaled for a statement placement. The patinated metal base shows minor surface wear consistent with age, and the leather shade has light wear with some minor edge fraying, both in keeping with its vintage character. Structurally sound and visually striking, it remains in very good overall condition.
