The chairs share a cohesive silhouette, gently splayed cabriole-style legs tapering to small pad feet, lending the set a light, airy quality despite the solid iron construction. Across all eight chairs, the original painted finish has weathered extensively, flaking away in irregular patches to reveal deep rust-brown metal beneath a crackled white surface, creating a rich, mottled patina that varies slightly from chair to chair and gives the ensemble genuine collected, time-worn character. This heavy surface distressing, while dramatic, has not compromised the underlying structural soundness of any chair in the set, and the sunburst pattern remains fully legible and visually striking throughout. Displayed together, the repeated radial forms create a bold, sculptural grouping with strong graphic impact.

Arrange this substantial set around a garden table, on a covered patio, or as striking accent seating in a sunroom or conservatory. They complement French Country, Garden/Outdoor, Shabby Chic, Eclectic, and Industrial interiors. To care for them, brush away loose debris with a dry brush, consider a protective clear coat or powder coating if continued outdoor use is planned, and store under cover during harsh weather to slow further deterioration. Measurements: each chair is 18.25 inches wide, 17 inches deep, and 35.5 inches high, with a seat height of 17.5 inches. Condition is fair, with significant paint loss and rusting throughout; structurally sound but suited to restoration. Bring this dramatic garden set into your outdoor space today. See less
