The curved, scrolled armrests sweep gracefully from the seat frame upward, terminating in gently rolled ends that provide both structural support and decorative flourish, while slender, sinuous cabriole-style legs taper down to small pad feet, lending the silhouette an elegant, garden-party lightness despite its solid metal construction. The original paint finish has weathered dramatically over decades of outdoor exposure, flaking away in irregular patches to reveal rich rust-brown metal beneath a crackled white surface, creating a dramatic, painterly patina reminiscent of aged stone or distressed plaster. This heavy weathering, while extensive, has not compromised the chairs' underlying structural integrity, and the sunburst pattern remains fully legible and visually striking throughout both pieces. The matched pair offers genuine architectural presence, equally suited to display as-is or as a foundation for restoration.

Place this pair on a patio, garden terrace, or covered porch, or use them as striking sculptural accent seating indoors. They complement French Country, Garden/Outdoor, Shabby Chic, Eclectic, and Industrial interiors. To care for them, brush away loose debris with a dry brush, consider a protective clear coat or powder coating if continued outdoor use is planned, and store under cover during harsh weather to slow further deterioration. Measurements: each chair is 23.25 inches wide, 17.75 inches deep, and 33.5 inches high, with a seat height of 17 inches. Condition is fair, with significant rust and paint loss throughout; structurally sound but suited to restoration. Bring this characterful garden pair into your outdoor space today. See less
