This authentic 1930s vintage tin lithograph advertising serving tray, produced for the historic William Gretz Brewing Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, brings a beautiful pop of Pre-WWII Americana to any home bar, game room, or gallery wall layout. The front face features a highly stylized, dapper Victorian gentleman sporting a top hat and handlebar mustache, depicted riding a classic high-wheel penny-farthing bicycle while carefully balancing a streaming growler of beer alongside his running dog.
Arched across the top is the brewery's famous vintage catchphrase, Mellow Goodness, rendered in crisp typography over a vibrant red field. The outer raised rim shows minor shelf scuffs and faint, superficial oxidation spots along the bottom edge border. The yellow-coated reverse backing exhibits moderate-to-heavy surface wear consistent with age and commercial counter friction, showing an accumulation of dark linear scratches and superficial scuffs. The metal is structurally round, lays flat, and is entirely free of deep dents, impact warping, or rust perforations. less
