The substantial double-spout vessel rests on a raised pedestal and is permanently mounted to its shaped underplate. Sculptural shell and fan motifs accent the body and ends, complemented by a softly scalloped rim and molded underplate. The flowing silhouette and restrained ornamentation reflect the refinement of French Belle Époque tableware.

Clearly marked CHRISTOFLE with the firm’s early C–balance–C hallmark, the number 10 and production number 2082754. Christofle used its balance hallmark prior to 1935, while the firm’s historic hollowware numbering places this example approximately in the first decade of the 20th century.

Measures approximately 10.5” long, 5” tall, 6.5” wide.

In very good antique condition with some surface scratches, patina, tarnish and areas of oxidation consistent with age and use. The silver-plated finish remains highly reflective overall. See less
