A circa 1870 Victorian style mahogany shaving stand or gentleman's dressing mirror with a round tilting mirror in a molded frame mounted above a small circular candle or accessory shelf. The mirror pivots on a metal bracket with a shelf below resting on a tall, elegantly turned pedestal column with a ring-turned upper section, fluted and lobed lower section and base splaying into three graceful cabriole-style legs ending in scrolled feet. No maker’s mark.
