PLEASE NOTE That This is Being Offered for Decorative Purposes - Not Necessarily as a Functional Musical Instrument.
This Really is a Great Looking Authentic Antique Musical Instrument. Small Size 8 String Banjo Style. Circa Approx 1920. It has No Maker Mark that I can Find but I am Quite Sure that it is American in Origin. Materials Used in Construction Include Nickle ( No Magnetic Metal ), Steel, Mahogany Wood, Rosewood, Mother of Pearl, Celluloid, Animal Skin ( Drum ) & Possibly Others. It is in Very Good - Totally Untouched - All Original - Just Exactly as it has Survived Over the Years Condition. I Do Not See Any Damage or Repairs and it Appears to be Complete with No Missing Parts. It Displays Very Nicely and Would Work Well as a Unique Wall Hanging or Other Decorator Item.
NOTE - That a Cable Hanging Wire has Been Added on the Neck so if You Want to Use it for Wall Display it is Good to Go.
It Measures Overall Approx.
22 1/2 inches Tall.
10 1/2 inches Long.
2 1/2 inches Wide.
