Van Sciver Co. in Camden, NJ, includes a substantial round table with two leaves and six coordinating chairs, all displaying attractive oak grain and elegant turned details. The chairs feature shaped backs and light upholstered seats, while the table rests on an especially handsome turned-leg base connected by a curved stretcher; the photos simply do not do this set justice in person. The set was previously refinished by Mumford Restoration, an elite Raleigh-based antiques restoration firm known for its exceptional craftsmanship and expertise in fine furniture.
