A charming mid-century Parisian scene depicting the Eiffel Tower from across the Seine, framed by leafy trees with a riverboat and strolling couple in the foreground.
Titled “Paris La Tour Eiffel” and signed “Arno” within the image, the composition is rendered in a soft palette of blues, grays and muted red with the loose, expressive quality of watercolor.
Presented under glass in a vintage gold-tone frame accented with a narrow green liner, the piece has an appealing collected European character and would work beautifully in a library, study, gallery wall or French-inspired interior.
This piece appears to be a vintage printed reproduction of a watercolor composition.
Measures approximately 11” wide, 14” tall, and .75” deep.
In very good vintage condition with expected age-related wear, including scuffs, nicks and finish loss to the frame. Paper shows light toning. Older paperboard backing and hanging wire remain in place.
