Rescued from a local church—with one uniquely "weathered" chair found tucked away in a vintage mop cabinet—these chairs are the epitome of early 20th-century craftsmanship.
Each chair is constructed from solid quartersawn oak, showcasing the iconic "tiger stripe" grain that is highly prized by collectors. The slatted "steamboat" design offers a timeless, airy aesthetic that complements farmhouse, industrial, and Gothic Parisian interiors perfectly.
These chairs are in solid, usable, and original condition. They feature a century of character-building patina that only genuine age can provide.
Structural Integrity: All 12 chairs are structurally sound and fold smoothly.
Hardware: Features original hardware. One chair possesses heavier oxidation on the screws (from its time in the church cabinet), adding to its unique story.
Maintenance: The oak is ready for a polish to your preferred luster. We recommend replacing the original rubber seat bumpers. See less
