Fresh from a fine New York City estate collection, we have a pleasure to offer you this gorgeous PAIR of … Read more Fresh from a fine New York City estate collection, we have a pleasure to offer you this gorgeous PAIR of Large Antique French 19th / 20th C Bronze Vases / Urns. Awesome decoration, great Parisian workmanship finished in rich gold color patina. Featured is a sea shell in the center, surrounded with scrolls and leaf branches. Each urn is signed "F. Barbedienne". Bronze sculptures are propped on a square beveled onyx base. This pair of beauties were made at the turn of the 19th to 20th century. At one point they were converted to lamps, drilled for wiring, and than later reversed and patched back up (please see photos). Bronzes ewers are in good condition, showing age / use wear, patch right by the signature on the back side, one tip of the arm missing - please see photos. Statues are large and heavy, impressive size at 13" height overall to the handles, 7" wide, 5.5" deep across, while the onyx bases are 4.25" x 4.25" wide square. This will be a and a great collection addition, an asset in any traditional or vintage mid-century modern setting! See less
