The shaped square top is particularly attractive, with gently serpentine edges surrounding a geometric parquetry surface. The veneers are arranged directionally to create a symmetrical pattern that draws the eye toward the center, giving the tabletop considerable visual interest without relying on elaborate ornament.

Below, the shaped apron continues the flowing silhouette and is centered by a carved shell motif. Additional carved details transition into four slender cabriole legs, each following a sweeping curve before terminating in a small scrolling foot.
