Wegner for the danish manufacturer a/s mikael laursen, is one of his early designs. Wegner developed the model around 1940, and it was showcased at the købestævnet exhibition in fredericia in 1942. As one of the first rocking chairs in the designer's portfolio, the ml33 exemplifies his interest in combining traditional woodworking craftsmanship with user comfort.

this particular piece was manufactured in the 1950s. Its frame is constructed from oak. The chair has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish. The work was carried out by a talented carpenter with over 20 years of experience. The seat has been reupholstered in high-quality grey wool fabric, and the foam padding has also been replaced. Thanks to this restoration, the chair looks magnificent and is ready to serve its new owner for years to come, withstanding the rigors of daily use.
