A charming woodland gathering for the table: two owls perched on tree stumps and two squirrels with tall, striped tails. This collected set of four vintage ceramic salt and pepper shakers combines warm brown glaze with touches of mossy green and turquoise. The owls have finely textured feathers and wide, watchful eyes; the squirrels bring a playful companion motif.
Display all four together at a casual dinner or divide them into an owl pair and a squirrel pair along a longer table. Their character suits cottage, rustic, and woodland-inspired settings, with the whimsical animal tableware associated with John Derian, vintage Fitz and Floyd and Otagiri.
