Curator Notes:
This exceptional three-piece library suite seamlessly captures the intellectual depth and structured elegance of Neoclassical and Louis XVI design. The focal point of the collection is a magnificent mahogany writing console table. It features a beautifully contoured serpentine front with a fluted border, supported by four commanding, architectural fluted legs anchored with ornate antique brass rosette medallions on the block corner appliques.
Flanking the console are a pair of vintage French Louis XVI style medallion armchairs (fauteuils). The oval backrests, manchettes, and plush seat cushions have been newly and tightly tailored in a premium, textured ivory-and-white geometric jacquard textile. This luminous fabric creates a breathtaking contrast against the dark wood frames, with every curve sharply defined by a perfect perimeter of individual antique brass nailhead trim. This curated set offers a brilliant, sophisticated solution for an upscale home library workspace, a grand executive alcove, or an elite entry gallery.

The mahogany console table retains a rich, high-luster finish across its expansive surface, with only minor surface superficial scratches and light scuffs along the lower legs typical of gentle wear. Structurally, the table and both open-arm medallion chairs remain sturdy, tightly jointed, and sound. The chairs feature brand-new, professional upholstery in a pristine cream geometric jacquard fabric that is entirely free of stains, tears, or odors, while the classic antique brass nailhead trim and decorative corner medallions remain securely anchored and nicely patinated. less
