Deep ridges and a pointed tip give the covered tureen the shape of an oversized triton-style conch shell. Beneath it, a platter bordered with radiating scallop shells creates a striking presentation, while the curved ladle completes the seaside theme.

This is serving ware with the presence of a centerpiece: fill it with seafood bisque or chowder for a dinner party, or display the complete set on a sideboard between gatherings.
