An authentic first-decade production vintage sand-cast aluminum fish-shaped serving dish designed by mid-century metalware icon Arthur Court. Part of the highly collectible 1970s "Wonders of the Water" line, this striking slender platter features meticulously sculpted fins, detailed scalloped scales, and the designer's signature bezel-set red carnelian stone cabochon eye.
The brilliant silver luster of the polished aluminum alloy naturally retains temperatures, making it a functional choice for chilling and presenting seafood delicacies like custom hors d'oeuvres or cocktail garnishes. When not serving on the table, it makes an excellent catchall tray for an entryway console or an eclectic sculptural addition to a coastal gallery wall. The reverse side is stamped with the clear, authentic hallmark: "ARTHUR COURT COPYRIGHT © 1976."
