piece features smooth, "flamed", glazed, enameled finishes (aka "émaux flambés"), with thick, organic "drips". Its vibrant colors range from turquoise green and blue, to burgundy with subtle, blended hues of white and brown, finishing with a beautiful dark green, around the smooth, scalloped edges (see photos.)
the iridescent glaze on the underside of the bowl, has beautiful, greenish - gunmetal grey hues, finishing with a dark green-colored ring around the foot of the base (see photos.)

piece carries its maker's mark, under the base with the following:
- a crown with a coat of arms
- the word "tourmalines"
- "longwy france"
- "made in france"

piece is in very good, near mint, original and vintage condition, with some very light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, edging, underside and base (foot), as can be expected for a piece of its age (see photos.) no cracks or chips.

a beautiful, standout piece of decor, that will attract the eye in any given place, that can be used as shallow fruit bowl, showcased as a decorative object placed upon a coffee table or sideboard, or even hung on a wall.
