They originally appeared in a haute couture French magazine of the time. They are NOT recent reproduction prints. They showcase fashion Art Deco designs for summer at the beach. Designs are by leading fashion icons (from left to right) Marcel Rochas, Maggy Rouff, Molyneux, Jacque Heim, CHANEL, and Robert Pigeut. Done in navy blue tones and white, they show casual day wear for those who stroll the coastal beaches. Particularly note the Chanel ensemble featuring a day dress, 3/4 length summer coat, wide rim hat and summer scarf. These images bring us back to an era of high fashion summer couture. Perfect for your summer beach house decor. They have strong contrasting color tones of nautical blue and white tones which make for stricking wall decor. It has become increasingly dificult to find beach related sets of prints by iconic designers from the early 1900s, especially in excellent condition. These are strikingly impactful.
