With its generous scale and twelve lighting points, the chandelier creates a strong architectural presence while retaining the balanced symmetry associated with Louis XVI design.

The chandelier is crafted from heavy solid bronze and retains its attractive original antique-gold patina. Classical floral and foliate ornamentation decorates the structure, while the naturally aged gilt surface emphasizes the depth of the bronze casting and preserves the authentic character of the piece.

A particularly distinctive feature is the arrangement of eight exterior bronze arms, each terminating in a beautiful rosette-shaped milk-glass shade. Their softly opaque white glass provides an elegant contrast with the warm gilt bronze and creates a diffused glow when illuminated.

Inside the chandelier are four additional lighting points, bringing the total to 12 lights. The lower section is completed by a decorative shell-shaped milk-glass ornament, adding another sculptural element to the design.
