L. Hitchcock Windsor settee bench in a warm cherry finish, featuring an exceptionally tall continuous spindle back, curved arms with scroll ends, turned arm supports, shaped solid wood seat, turned legs, and an elaborately turned front stretcher.
The graceful fan/comb-style spindle back and traditional turned construction give this settee the classic American Windsor form. Signed beneath the seat “L. Hitchcock. Hitchcocks-Ville. Conn. Warranted.”
