Manufactured in the USA by Royal China, the "Currier & Ives Blue" pattern is a mid-century classic celebrating historic American pastoral life. Each style of dish features a distinct vignette—including the sought-after "The Old Grist Mill" dinner plates and "The Farm Gate" bowls—printed in a crisp, vibrant blue transferware style on cream porcelain.A magnificent and highly collectible highlight of this particular lot is the inclusion of 11 matching blue-and-white drinking glasses/tumblers, which are increasingly difficult to find intact as a near-complete set.
