Antique English quarter-sawn oak draw-leaf dining table, circa 1920, with a paneled top, substantial baluster-turned legs and an X-form stretcher base. The compact 35.5-inch table extends to approximately 59 inches long with two pull-out leaves, providing considerably more dining space when needed.
The oak has attractive quarter-sawn figuring and a warm aged surface, while the paneled top and bold turned base reflect the Jacobean Revival influence popular in English furniture of the early 20th century. Its compact closed size makes it particularly useful for a breakfast room, apartment or smaller dining area.
Dimensions: approximately 35.5"W × 35"L × 29.5"H closed; approximately 59"L fully extended.
