Hitchcock Furniture Company nine-drawer maple dresser featuring traditional Colonial styling and hand-applied floral and foliate stenciling. The dresser has three smaller drawers over six full-width drawers, each fitted with decorative porcelain and brass-tone pulls.
Features include a molded overhanging top, paneled sides, shaped bracket feet and molded base. The drawers are dovetail constructed. Decorative Hitchcock historical papers are applied inside the case, including an 1830 advertisement for Lambert Hitchcock and a handwritten poem attributed to Lambert Hitchcock.
Warm maple finish with traditional Hitchcock stenciled decoration throughout.
