Vintage Columbian No. 03½ cast-iron bench vise manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio. A compact American-made shop vise with 3½-inch jaws, swivel base, integrated anvil surface and mounting holes.
The exceptional surface has heavily worn acid-green paint over an earlier red finish, with exposed iron and oxidation throughout. The layered color gives it an unusually strong industrial-folk-art presence while preserving its honest working history.
Measures approximately 9" long × 5.5" wide × 5.5" high.
