This pair in iridescent taupe that shifts toward rose depending on the light does what the best lampshades do — they make the lamp disappear and the light itself become the object.

The iridescent finish reads differently at different hours. Morning light brings out the taupe. Evening light pulls the rose forward. That quality of change is what handmade silk produces and what machine-made shades never will.

Sold as a pair — they were made to work together and they should stay that way. Use them on matching bedside lamps, on a pair of console lamps flanking a sofa, or wherever a room needs warmth at eye level rather than overhead.

Minor wear consistent with age. Iridescent finish fully intact. See less
