A sculptural mid-20th-century divided serving platter by INARCO of Japan, model E2603.
The platter is formed as five deeply molded green leaves, each creating an individual serving compartment. A dimensional arrangement of grapes, pears, citrus fruit, and foliage rises from the center. Its richly variegated green glaze and dark leaf veining create the naturalistic, majolica-inspired appearance associated with INARCO’s collectible fruitware.
A substantial and highly decorative piece for entertaining, displaying on an easel, or incorporating into a grand millennial, Mediterranean, or botanical interior.
