The front is decorated … Read more Impressive early 19th century English ironstone covered vase, attributed to Mason’s, standing an exceptional 21.5" tall. The front is decorated with the Muscovy Duck pattern, while the reverse features the Canton pattern with richly detailed Chinoiserie garden scenes.

The vase features an architectural flared neck, elaborate scrolling handles and a charming seated foo dog finial. Hand-painted gilt scrollwork against the deep green ground adds to its striking presence. A substantial and highly decorative example of early English ironstone.
