He Started Producing Stoneware in 1854. His Sons ( Brothers ) Took over Production and Ran the Company From 1877 to 1880 so This Jug can Easily be Dated to That Time Frame. It has a Classic and Uniform Sandy Color American Salt Glaze Exterior. The Front of the Jug has a Exceptionally Nice, Artistically & Well Executed Hand Decorated Cobalt Blue Flower & Stem Decoration. It is Also Has a Number 2 Indicating its 2 Gallon Liquid Storage Capacity.
