Crafted in mahogany and beautifully ebonized, the cabinet has been restored with a lustrous, museum-quality traditional French polish, giving the surface remarkable depth and refinement.
The upper display case is exceptionally luminous, with its original glass throughout, including the beautifully curved side panels. Glass shelves and a mirrored back maximize light and create an ideal setting for displaying a collection of Murano glass, art glass, porcelain, objets d’art, or other treasured decorative objects.
The restrained architectural lines are enhanced by finely cast gilt-bronze and brass details, while the lower cabinet provides discreet additional storage. Raised on elegant tapered legs with gilt-bronze mounts, the piece has a sophisticated neoclassical presence without appearing overly formal.
