The Heracleum chandelier by Moooi is a sculptural lighting design by Bertjan Pot in collaboration with Marcel Wanders Studio. Inspired by the branching form of the Heracleum plant, the fixture spreads dozens of delicate illuminated "leaves" across a branching frame, creating an airy yet dramatic presence. Each leaf is powered by advanced LED technology, producing a warm and atmospheric glow.
This example is in the "large" size and is finished in Moooi's "Nickel," which is more of a dark bronze tone. The suspension is adjustable, allowing it to adapt to different ceiling heights. As shown in the photos, there is a significant amount of extra hanging wire included for maximum flexibility. The body of the chandelier without the wire measures 25.6 inches high. Its diameter is 38.6 inches.
