Three of the four prints are numbered 10/50, with the fourth numbered 6/50, giving the assembled suite an unusually cohesive edition profile.

Each work presents the same coastal composition in an entirely different palette, allowing color alone to transform the mood, atmosphere, and visual character of the image. Viewed together, the four prints create a striking large-scale installation with the rhythm and graphic clarity associated with Spanish modern and Latin American graphic design.

The series is particularly well suited to designer-led interiors. Offered unframed, the works allow complete flexibility in presentation: they may be installed in matching black or white gallery frames for a disciplined contemporary presentation or framed individually in colors selected to coordinate with the architecture, textiles, furnishings, and palette of a room.

Their bold color and coastal imagery would work especially well in a Miami Modern, tropical modern, contemporary coastal, or color-forward interior, while the repeated composition allows the group to function as a cohesive architectural element across a large wall, corridor, stair landing, library, or other expansive residential space.

Born in Buenos Aires in 1939, América Sánchez established his career in Barcelona and became an important figure in Spanish graphic design. His work combines disciplined composition with an adventurous use of typography, imagery, and color.

These works hold a special place within the VisionS and VoltS Gallery Catalogue as the gallery's first acquisition. They remain together because we believe the artist's exploration of color is most fully understood when the four variations are experienced as a complete suite.
