These are exceptionally heavy, substantial, and high-quality artistic statement pieces featuring beautifully molded detailing throughout, including realistic "leather" graining, gold filigree accents, and distinct Roman numeral spines (XIV, VII, XIX). A highly versatile sculptural set, these function beautifully as striking end tables, bedside nightstands, or display pedestals. Perfectly suited for spaces celebrating Dark Academia, Grandmillennial, Hollywood Regency, or Maximalist aesthetics.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Both pedestals are structurally sound, solid, and exceptionally heavy. The original hand-painted polychrome finish retains a gorgeous, authentic vintage patina. Wear is strictly age-appropriate and cosmetic, including light fading to the gold-leaf detailing and small chips to the plaster along the sharp edges of the book spines—adding beautifully to the "found antique" library aesthetic.
