Rising from the center of the piece, a small cylindrical neck adds vertical interest, breaking the horizontal sweep of the wings and providing a subtle focal point to the overall composition. The Lucite material displays a warm, honeyed amber-gold coloration throughout, its translucent quality allowing light to pass through and refract beautifully, creating shifting tonal gradients that range from deep golden amber in thicker sections to a cooler, pearlescent grey-green where the material thins toward the piece's tapered edges. This luminous color variation, whether achieved through natural material variegation or an intentional design choice, lends the sculpture a fluid, almost liquid quality despite its solid, dimensional form. The smooth, high-gloss polished surface catches and reflects ambient light dramatically, emphasizing the sculpture's sinuous curves and enhancing its modernist, abstract sensibility characteristic of mid-century decorative Lucite objects.

This sculpture makes a captivating accent for a bookshelf, mantel, or gallery console, its translucent quality and sculptural form serving as a striking standalone art object. It complements Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, Modern Eclectic, and Contemporary interiors particularly well. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners or prolonged direct sunlight, which could yellow or affect the Lucite's clarity over time. The sculpture measures 8 inches in width, 2 inches in depth, and 6½ inches in height. It presents in very good condition, with clear Lucite showing minimal signs of wear, minor surface scratches consistent with age and use, and no significant damage or structural issues.
