A stunning Early 20th Century Mount Fuji pictorial Japanese Charger from the Taisho to Showa Era. Katakana markings on the back. This beautiful 14.5" hand painted charger depicting Mount Fuji in the distance with a man enjoying the view from under a pine tree (matsu) is done in an underglaze color of cobalt blue on white background. Excellent detailing of birds, trees and a geometric trim. A highly sought after and desirable theme this large Japanese charger will bring lasting beauty to your home. It is a solid weight of 4 lbs 5.8 oz.
