A pair of tapered square cachepots made of stacked bamboo reeds, laid horizontally around a wood frame, with the reed ends meeting at each corner. The tapered shape and warm honey tones give them a relaxed Palm Beach and Hollywood Regency feel, a nice counterpoint to brass, lacquer, and blue-and-white.
The two are a graduated pair, one slightly larger than the other. The larger has a reddish-brown stained interior and base, and the smaller has a natural wood interior. They look great together on a bookshelf, console, or bar cart, or used on their own as orchid or small plant cachepots (with a liner), desk catchalls, or pen and brush holders in an office or powder room.
