Each label is 16” wide
This vintage Chinese six-panel folding screen brings chinoiserie flair to any room. Rich red lacquer with a visible woodgrain finish serves as the backdrop for hand-painted gilt scenes: a pagoda pavilion set among blossoming plum and pine trees, figures on horseback and foot, ducks, roosters, and craggy garden rocks. The outer panels feature framed vignettes of teapots, vases, and flowering branches, while the lower register showcases lotus, geese, and rustic huts. Brass-capped feet finish each panel, and the reverse displays a warm, unadorned lacquered grain. Use it as a room divider, headboard alternative, or wall-mounted focal point behind a sofa.
